MRS. MCNARY'S WELCOMES YOU TO 9TH GRADE COORDINATE ALGEBRA
Welcome to the 2015-2016 school year! It is my pleasure to introduce myself to you. My name is Sharlita McNary, and I am teaching CCGPS Coordinate Algebra. This is my tenth year teaching here at Stone Mountain High School. I received my Bachelors’ Degree from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and I received my Master’s degree for Georgia Institute of Technology. I am proud to be teaching at Stone Mountain High School and I look forward to a great year of hard work!
In math, students are expected to work at school and at home in order to fully understand the more advanced concepts. You can expect your son/daughter to have homework frequently. If your son/daughter needs extra help with his/her homework or simply has a question, I have two tutorial days – Monday and Tuesday 3:20 – 3:50. I have many expectations for my students and hard work is one of them.
I firmly believe that the best education will take place when the parents, students, and teachers work together as a team. With that in mind, feel free to contact me by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 678-676-6302. Together we can make your child be successful in school this year.
I am looking forward to working with you and your child this school year. I assure you I will work diligently to make your child’s classroom environment both engaging and productive. Thank you again for this opportunity to introduce myself. Best wishes for you and your family this school year!
